Please refer to the markers from now on ("M120+", "M3+" etc). Y-chromosomal haplogroup designations change constantly. ("Q1", "Q2" etc meanwhile have different names.)
Pre-modern people were traditionally adapted to the eco-system in which they and their ancestors grew up. Thus, it's not far-fetched to suppose that they avoided to migrate to places which required new adaptation to (a different) environment. I posted the pictures in order to demonstrate that the geography of the Hindu Kush range is different from that in "Afghan Turkestan" and in the Iranian plateau. Maybe I didn't choose particularly significant or typical pictures, though. I'm not specialised on geography. Then again, it's necessary to point to the relevance of geography from time to time. In this case, we can say that skywalker mostly referred to samples from the Hindu Kush range. So we can define a region of potential interest more precisely.
