Baekje period sample found in Songrari (in present-day SW Korea?):
- D4e1a (probably Korean/Japanese branch parallel to North Asian D2 according to Derenko et al. 2010)

Goryo period samples found in Danyang (in present-day Chungcheongbuk-do?):
- A5c (also found in present-day Japanese, Han Chinese and Mongols; Fregel et al. 2015, Xu Kaikai et al. 2015, recent Hungarian paper)
- D6 (also found in Japanese, possibly more than one SE Asian branch; Derenko et al. 2010; Dawenkou samples could turn out to be like a missing link)
- F1a1 (mentioned elsewhere)
- N9a1 (mentioned elsewhere)

Joseon period sample found in Sinnae Dong (Seoul), gaeuidaebu official who belonged to the Munhwa Yu descent group:
- M12 (possibly very rare in northern East Asia but common in parts of SE Asia; Zhao Mian et al. 2009, Zhang et al. 2013, publications on southern East Asian and SE Asian mtDNA hg profiles)

mtDNA hg profile of a Yangchon cemetery sample from Gimpo-si in Gyeonggi-do (n=19):
- D4a: 5=26,3%
- D4* and "F1bde": 3=25,8% each
- D4c: 2=10,5%
- B5b, D4g2a, F*, F1a1, G4, N9a: 1=5,3% each
