According to McColl et al. 2018, there are Dong Son people from the Nui Nap site in Thanh Hoa province of coastal Vietnam predicted to have been in mtDNA hg M7 besides F1a. But there are no according y-chromosomal data in their paper, except for those of a man from the late Neolithic Nam Tun site in Lai Chau Province (O-M134+, M117-?; F1a?), which seems to be a more inland location. (See, e.g., http://english.cinet.vn/destinations/about.aspx?destinationid=38 or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lai_Châu_Province for Lai Chau Province.) Moreover, Lipson et al. 2018 reported some more ancient possible B5, M7, M8 and M13 samples from the Man Bac site besides samples the hg predictions for which were very unrealistic. But at least in their cases there are what appears to be y-chromosomal hg predictions from samples from the same site: they categorise of them as "O2a1", which would be O-M122+, L127+ in the 2018 isogg tree, another as "O", a third as "CT" and a fourth as "I", which could turn out to be D according to previous probably wrong predictions. (Those who are more interested in such predictions should check y hts on their own.) That said, "F" is missing from the samples of Lipson et al. 2018. Instead, relatively many of their Man Bac and Nui Nap samples appear to be in "M8". So is it possible to confuse M8 with F if certain markers are missing? Maybe not particularly important but possibly worth being mentioned until further notice. As for physical anthropological studies, Matsumura et al. conducted such studies. The results more or less resemble those concerning Gua Cha people. It's more about temporal and geographical clines and cluster than about unambiguous categories (like classic "Australoid" etc).
